The Opening of The Dolphin Swim Club is Postponed

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 stay-at-home order from the Governor’s office, the opening of the Dolphin swim Club will be postponed until further notice.  More announcements will follow as we transition through the Re-Open Pennsylvania process and how that will affect the upcoming season.  We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.

Township Walking Trails are Reopened

Effective Friday April 24th:

Lower Southampton Township would like to announce the reopening of the walking trails at Playwicki Farm and Russell Elliott Memorial Park.  At this time the playgrounds, restrooms and athletic amenities remain closed.  Please limit the use of the trash and recycling bins during these times for the safety of the parks personnel.  Please observe social distancing guidelines while using the walking trails and in the parking areas.  If the parking lot is full, please leave and return later.

Township Parks Remain Closed

Effective Monday, April 20, 2020, Bucks County Parks will reopen for walking and exercise. However, Lower Southampton Township Parks will remain closed.  No one is permitted in the parks or use of the park amenities such as athletic fields, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, walking trails or skate park.  We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.

Important Parks & Recreation Announcement

Out of an abundance of caution, all Township playgrounds are closed until further notice effective March 19, 2020. This includes the playgrounds at Playwicki Farm, Russell Elliott Memorial Park, and the skate park at The Dolphin Swim Club. All park bathrooms and facilities are closed. Our walking trails remain open.

We ask that you please practice social distancing while at our parks by not gathering in groups of more than 10 per the guidelines set forth by the White House and Governor Wolf.
