AREA GOLFERS AREA INVITED TO TEE IT UP FOR FUN AND PRIZES IN THE 26th ANNUAL FEASTERVILLE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION GOLF OUTING TO BE HELD AT OLD YORK ROAD COUNTRY CLUB ON MONDAY, JULY 11
 

Area golfers are invited to tee it up for fun and prizes in the 26th Annual Feasterville Business Association Golf Outing to be held at Old York Road Country Club, 801 Tennis Avenue, Ambler, PA on Monday, July 11, it was announced by Ed Shannon, of Feasterville, PA, event chairperson. Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m. to be followed with a tee off at noon.

“Here’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day of golf on a terrific course, fine food and spirits, door and team tournament prizes and with a full share of camaraderie,” Shannon states. “This year’s tournament will benefit a group of area communal and charitable endeavors plus the FBA’s annual college scholarship fund and Easter egg hunt. Since its inception, the FBA golf outing has raised $250,000 for charitable and communal causes.”

This is the second time the fund-raising event is being held at Old York Road Country Club, one of the area’s finest private golf courses and banquet facilities. The competition will begin with a shotgun start and will follow a four-person best ball scramble format. Cost for individual golfers will be $175 and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and refreshments, cash bar, snacks, banquet dinner, team and door prizes and a special gift for all participants. Payment is required in full in advance of the tournament.

In addition, business and individual sponsorships are available beginning at $125 for a hole sponsor and ranging to $1000 for the awards and dinner sponsorship.
