Playwicki Farm Foundation will honor First Responders with a special tree decorating as part of their Second Friday Community Events Program.

The Playwicki Farm Foundation will single out all members of area police and volunteer fire units and EMT personnel for special recognition with the decorating of an evergreen tree in ceremonies at the picturesque, historic 110 acre farm.  The public is being invited to help decorate the tree with special handmade ribbons provided by the farm foundation to honor the area’s dedicated first responders.  The event is part of the third Second Friday community events program being sponsored by the farm foundation with funding from the American Heritage Credit Union in Feasterville, PA.

The Lower Southampton Police Department Honor Guard will display and carry America’s colors for the ceremonies.  Ray Weldie, Chairman of the Lower Southampton Township Supervisors and PA State Representative Frank Farry will offer opening remarks.  There also will be the singing of God Bless America.  In addition to the Lower Southampton Police, representatives of the Lower Southampton and Feasterville Fire Companies and Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad will be in attendance.  The evening also will be filled with food, entertainment and games for the community to enjoy following the program.
