The Lower Southampton Township Board of Supervisors is proud to announce the inception of a Hometown Heroes banner program, honoring military members that have died on active duty or have passed away. Family and friends can sponsor a 24” x 48” banner for a cost of $134.00. Banners can include a photo, service member’s full name, branch of service, and time/place of service (WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc.). A sample banner appears here.

Banners will be proudly displayed on street/light poles along Bustleton Pike from approximately Memorial Day to Veteran’s Day. We would like to start displaying banners by Memorial Day, 2019. Anyone interested in sponsoring a banner can e-mail Supervisor Ray Weldie at rweldie@lstwp.org or Administrative Assistant Christina Lynn at clynn@lstwp.org.  Please act quickly because the order for the banners has to be placed by the end of March.
