The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is conducting engineering studies for the improvement of the intersection of Bristol Road and Bridgetown Pike.  The intersection will be improved as part of PennDOT’s project to replace the Brownsville Road Bridge over Neshaminy Creek.  This is to inform you that a plan display will be available at the Lower Southampton Township Building, 1500 Desire Avenue, Feasterville, PA 19053.

The plans will be available Friday, January 25, 2019 thru Thursday, February 7, 2019 during business hours of 9AM to 5PM.

The Township building is accessible to persons with disabilities.

Bristol Road is a two-lane roadway and vehicles traveling north on Bristol Road can either make a left or right turn at the intersection.  This condition often results in a significant queue.  Therefore, Bristol Road will be widened to provide separate left and right turn lanes.  The intersection will be improved ahead of the Brownsville Road Bridge replacement to help the bridge detour route operate more effectively.  This will ultimately result in a permanent improvement to the intersection level of service.
