On Saturday, May 19, 2018, our Red Cross chapter will be organizing our next Home Fire Campaign/Sound the Alarm Install event in Feasterville, PA! We would love your help! We will train you, feed you and help you get involved in the community!
Seven times a day in the United States, someone dies in a home fire. Even more frequently, American Red Cross volunteers provide help to families who have lost their homes to devastating fires. It’s more important than ever that we all join together to save lives, reduce injuries and cut down on needless losses from home fires.
We are putting together teams that include an educator, installer & a documenter! There will definitely be a role for you! We will also be assigning local firefighters to the teams to assist with the smoke alarm installs. Remember, it is not just about installing a smoke alarm, we want to help these families understand the dangers of home fires, how to be prepared, be safe and make their home safer. Join us!
Event Info:
- Rally Point is the Lower Southampton Township Building, 1500 Desire Avenue, Feasterville, PA 19053
- Arrival by 8:30 AM for Registration & Training (including light refreshments for breakfast)
- Teams will start canvassing their assigned areas around 9:30/10:00 AM until 2:00 PM (lunch provided later in the day)
