team up to clean up

Lower Southampton Township’s Annual Clean-Up Day is Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Refreshments will be served to all volunteers at the Dolphin Swim Club from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Volunteers are needed to help pick-up trash, direct traffic and so much more. All residents, young and old, are welcome. This is also a wonderful opportuntiy for Youth Groups, Boy & Girl Scouts to get involved in their community. There is a job for everyone!

The Township is also looking for donations of supplies, food and financial support.

The Board of Supervisors will be supplying a shredder and electronic recycling truck at the Township Building. Please note that electronic recycling is for residents of Lower Southampton Township only. There will will be a fee of $20 per television – the Township will pay the balance.

If you have any questions, please contact the office : Matt Gilbert, 215-357-7300 x316.

If you like to take walks around the neighborhood, stop in the Township Building to get some gloves & trash bags and pick-up trash on your walk during the month of April.  Encourage the kids to do the same!  If you do this, please leave your name at the front desk so we can give you a shout out in the newsletter.
