Snow Emergency Declared
Due to the impending snow storm, Chief Krimmel has declared a Snow Emergency that will be in effect from tomorrow, Saturday January 24, 2026 until Monday January 26, 2026.
During this Snow Emergency, it shall be unlawful at any time during the continuance of the Snow Emergency for any person to park a motor vehicle or to allow that vehicle to remain anywhere on any designated snow emergency route (any township street). Failure to remove vehicles may result in fines and or towing of vehicles.
The Snow Emergency may be shortened, extended or otherwise modified depending on conditions.
We need the vehicles off the street so our Road Crew and PENNDOT can effectively plow your streets. A snow emergency DOES NOT mean you can ride your ATVs and snowmobiles in the street.
Also, please remove any portable basketball courts away from the roadsides. They get in the way of the plows.
Please dig out your neighborhood fire hydrants and watch out for your elderly neighbors.
Thank you for your cooperation.
