Brownsville Road Pedestrian Improvement Project to Begin Monday, July 27

Construction will begin on Monday, July 27 on the Brownsville Road Pedestrian Improvement Project near Avenue C.

This safety improvement project includes:
🚶 A new pedestrian crosswalk
🚦 Pedestal-mounted Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs)
♿ New ADA-compliant curb ramps
🛣️ New sidewalks, curbing, pavement restoration, striping, and signage

All work will take place within Township easements, Township rights-of-way, and PennDOT rights-of-way. The project will also include erosion and sedimentation control measures and restoration of disturbed areas.

Please use caution when traveling through the work zone, watch for construction crews, and expect minor delays while work is underway.
