PennDOT Announces Sinkhole Remediation on Northbound Bustleton Pike

UPDATE:  An all-day lane closure remains in place on northbound Bustleton Pike between Ruth Street and Bridgetown Pike. PennDOT had originally indicated that the closure would end on Friday, April 17; however, the Township has since been notified that PennDOT will need to subcontract the work needed for this site.   At this time, PennDOT has not provided an updated reopening date.  The Township will continue to provide updates as we learn them.

Sinkhole Remediation Begins on Northbound Route 532 (Bustleton Pike) in Lower Southampton Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that sinkhole remediation begins on northbound Route 532 (Bustleton Pike) in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

 Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
